Parker’s

Parker's CEO Greg Parker who gave permission to re-name its service street to LePageville Drive thus marking the spot in remembrance of one of Savannah's 19th century neighborhoods dating back to 1885 which housed African-American railroad employees. The LMCC Board recognized him with a award of appreciation plaque on Oct 22, 2016.

Buddy Myers

The late Buddy Myers, who Owned Southeast Southeast Chain & Specialty, Inc. and later Chain Reps, Inc., which was operated and located on Wahlstrom Rd that was neighboring behind the cemetery. He worked with Ms. Jenkins to keep the history of LePageville alive.

Charles Varner

The late Charles Varner, a Pine Gardens resident who volunteered his time cleaning up the cemetery and cookouts for fundraising alongside with David Blount and Ellis Cook.

George & Jesse Ponder

Founders of LePageville Memorial Cemetery, Inc. The LMCC Board recognized the late Ponder brothers with a "Distinguished Citizen Award" plaque on Oct 22, 2016. It was accepted by their family.
