About the Event
The Savannah State University partnered with the LePageville Memorial Cemetery Committee and is sponsoring the unveil of the historic cemetery's restored gateway arch and new interpretative sign.
This is made possible by Felicia Bell, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of History at Savannah State University (SSU) as she directed the project as part of a small community engagement initiative grant through SSU's College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS).
