Serves as a grant-writer, media/public relations rep, and event/program facilitator for LePageville Memorial Cemetery Corporation. Her involvement with the board began in 2016 as a Liaison from SSU. Retired assistant professor of English and a published author, specializing in studies of James Alan McPherson, Flannery O'Connor, and Gullah-Geechee literature.
